Data Deletion

You can remove most data directly from your account. For full-account deletion requests, use the verified email process below.

1. Groove Deletion

You can delete grooves directly from your Profile page. Deletion removes groove content and associated sharing links.

2. Account Deletion Request

To request account deletion, email noreply@updates.groovesketcher.com from your account email with subject "Account Deletion Request".

3. What Will Be Deleted

  • Account profile data associated with your user account.
  • Saved grooves and group links owned by your account, except where retention is legally required.
  • Session and authentication records not needed for security/compliance retention.

4. OAuth Disconnect

You may also revoke app access from your Google / Apple / Facebook account settings. Revoking provider access does not automatically delete data stored in GrooveSketcher.

5. Processing Time

We target completion within 30 days after verification of account ownership and request scope.
